Quiet winter days

The purity of the natural surroundings makes cross-country skiing in the Dolomites a superbly refreshing sport. There are 130 kilometres of cross-country trails in Valle Lunga near Selva Gardena, on the Alpe di Siusi and the plateau of Monte Pana near Santa Cristina. Ski-alpinists, accompanied by local guides, can set out on sealskins for adventures of different grades of difficulty, reaching vertiginous heights.
